​​​The declaration of any transported cash or bearer negotiable instruments (BNI) exceeding JOD 10,000 or their equivalent in foreign currency is mandatory - under the provisions of Article (23-A) of the Anti Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Law No. 20 for 2021. 

Those carrying such an amount must proceed to the QAIA Customs Office next to the security checkpoint. Those who fail to declare or make a false declaration by providing deceptive information will be liable for legal action. For more details, please visit: https://www.customs.gov.jo
